You can set up a social media posting approval workflow so that every time a certain user sends a post, it automatically routes it for approval from their boss or from legal or whoever you want to have approve it. It will send a notification as well as a summary of the post to the individual who's set to approve their posts. They can actually approve it directly from the email, so it's very simple to do. I'm going to set that up now. Take this example where we have one lower level employee, one admin boss, and we want to make it so every time the lower level person sends, it's going to route for approval.
So, what we're going to do: we're going to go to the top right navigation where your profile is and select "Workspace Users". And you're going to go to the actions dropdown next to the person who needs to have their posts approved and go to "Edit". If you scroll down within the permission section, there is a "Publish" option within here. The first option here is to "Do not hold social posts for approval". That's the default position. If you want to hold those posts, you're going to select the next option, which is "Hold social posts for approval". Then it will prompt you to select which other user you want to approve this. So, "Big Boss" is the other sub-user. "Agency Staff" is used if you're working with an agency and the agency is the one who's actually going to be either approving these or maybe adding images to these. You can use the workflow for whatever reason you want. But if you choose "Agency Staff", then it will be routed to them and they will complete the post.
So, I'm going to choose "Big Boss" for now. And I have another option here. Let's say "Big Boss" is really busy. They just want to be able to have eyes on it and be notified of it. What you could do is just check this box. It's going to "Auto approve after 60 Minutes" or let's say he wants 2 hours. And if he can't get to it within 2 hours, he doesn't want to hold that post because it might be an urgent post that really needs to get out there. So, if he's so busy that he can't look at it within two hours, then "Big Boss" is not going to be able to approve it personally. The system is actually going to go in and approve it on his behalf after 2 hours. When you're done with this, just click "Save", and you have a posting approval workflow.
