If you're experiencing duplicated posts in your newsfeed and suspect it's due to excessive reposting, here's how you can check and adjust repost settings:
1. Navigate to the "Queue" folder in your publishing tool.
2. Use the search function to find the post that's appearing multiple times in your newsfeed by entering the text of the post.
3. Once you locate the post, check if there are more reposts remaining. This indicates that the post is set to be reposted multiple times.
4. To address the issue, you have a couple of options:
- Delete the post if you don't want it to be reposted anymore. This will stop it from appearing in your newsfeed.
- Edit the repost settings by clicking on the post. Adjust the repost frequency (e.g., change from every 3 days to every 1 month) and the number of reposts remaining (e.g., limit it to 6 times instead of 10 times).
5. After making the necessary changes, save the modifications. The post will now adhere to the updated repost settings, reducing the likelihood of duplication in your newsfeed.
By adjusting the repost settings, you can control the frequency and duration of reposted content, ensuring a more balanced and less repetitive presence in your newsfeed.
⚠️ Also, you need to check both your Facebook and Instagram account setup. Make sure that the option to 'also share uploads' to Facebook or Instagram is switched off. If not, when you use our tool to post to both networks, these social networks will also automatically and immediately post copies to the other network.
