Store social profile selections and post settings using Post Presets

Manage multiple brands and companies or just save time, using Post Presets

If you regularly send the same type of post, such as daily discounts or recurring promotions, you can save a significant amount of time by using Post Presets. Post Presets allow you to store your profile selections and all publishing settings so you don’t have to reconfigure them every time.

Here’s how it works.

Step 1: Configure Your Post Settings

Start by setting up a post exactly the way you normally would.

For example, if you frequently promote lighting discounts:

  1. Select the social networks you typically use, such as Facebook and LinkedIn.

  2. Add your promotional image.

  3. Apply a watermark if needed.

  4. Choose the appropriate category, such as a Promotional category.

  5. Set the post to Repost based on the queue schedule, so it publishes whenever an open time slot is available.

  6. Set an end date for reposting, such as the end of next month when the sale ends.

  7. Add a first comment if you use one regularly.

  8. Choose a call to action, such as “Like this post.”

  9. Apply your saved hashtag group.

  10. Optionally, enable Hold for Approval if a team member needs to review the post before publishing.

Once everything is configured exactly the way you want it, you’re ready to save it as a preset.

Step 2: Save as a Post Preset

  1. Click on Post Presets.

  2. Choose to create a new preset rather than overwriting an existing one.

  3. Give it a clear name, such as “Sale.”

  4. Save the preset.

You also have the option to make this your default post preset, which means these settings will automatically apply every time you create a new post.

Step 3: Apply the Preset in the Future

Next time you create a similar post:

  1. Select your preset from the Post Presets dropdown.

  2. All previously saved settings will automatically apply, including:

    • Selected social networks

    • Repost settings and end date

    • First comment

    • Call to action

    • Hashtag group

    • Any other publishing preferences you saved

This eliminates the need to manually reconfigure the same settings each time.

PRO TIP: You can delete Post Presets by hovering over it in the dropdown lists of Post Presets. Then click the trash can icon.

PRO TIP 2: You can make a Post Preset applied by default for all new social posts by hovering over it in the dropdown list of Post Presets. Then click the Star icon. Click the Star icon again to stop it from being applied by default.

Why This Matters

If you frequently send similar types of content, such as promotions, blog announcements, or product updates, Post Presets dramatically reduce setup time and minimize errors.

Instead of repeating the same steps every time, you configure it once and reuse it whenever needed.
