Why Are My Social Posts Being Sent at Different Times Across Networks?

If you're noticing that your social media posts are going out at different times across networks—such as LinkedIn posts being sent a day after your Facebook posts—there’s a reason for this, and a simple fix if it’s causing confusion.

Why This Happens

Our system is designed to follow your weekly post schedule as closely as possible. When a scheduled post time arrives (e.g., Tuesday at 10:00 AM), we attempt to publish to all selected networks for that scheduled item.

However, if a post in your queue omits one of the networks—for example, it’s missing LinkedIn—our system will attempt to fill that gap. It does this by pulling LinkedIn content from the next available post that includes LinkedIn, even if that post is scheduled for a different day.

This ensures that every network gets consistent, daily content—especially important for maintaining a complete and professional-looking social feed.

How to Identify the Issue

  1. Go to your Queue or Sent folder.

  2. Scroll until you notice post times diverge across networks.

    • Example: Facebook posts show April 20th at 10:00 AM, but LinkedIn shows April 21st at 10:00 AM.

  3. Continue scrolling upward until you find the post where the timing began to diverge.

    • You’ll likely find a post that’s missing a network, which causes all subsequent posts to become misaligned.

How to Fix It in the Queue

If the issue is in your Queue:

  1. Locate the first post where the network is missing (e.g., LinkedIn isn’t selected).

  2. Click Edit on that post.

  3. Re-select the missing network (e.g., check LinkedIn).

  4. Click Add to Queue again.

This will correct all downstream posts and bring their scheduled times back into alignment.

How to Fix It in the Sent Folder

If the issue is in your Sent folder (i.e., it’s already been published):

  1. Find the post that is missing the network.

  2. Click Open as Copy.

  3. Modify the networks by removing the already-sent one (e.g., remove Facebook) and add the missing one (e.g., LinkedIn).

  4. Click Add to Queue — do not send it immediately, as we want it to realign future posts.

Once this copied version is sent, it will restore your schedule across all networks, without creating duplicate posts.

Final Tip

To avoid this issue in the future, double-check your selected profiles when adding posts to the queue. If you're using Profile Groups, make sure the group includes all networks you want each post to publish to.
