How to Whitelist this Software in Avast Antivirus

Are you using Avast antivirus and having strange issues with the user interface and functionality? This is how you can make sure that this software still works properly.

Have you experienced any of the following strange things when using this software?

  • Chat widget isn't showing up
  • Social posts in Publish dashboard not saving
  • Settings not saving
  • Other features not functioning as they should

If you have Avast antivirus installed on your device, that may be the cause of it. We've found that Avast seems to interfere with your browser so that our software can execute our javascript properly. As a result, the software shows up strange responses to common user actions.

☝️To stop this from happening, you need to tell Avast to exclude this software from scanning by whitelisting it.

Here's how you can whitelist our software in Avast.

1. Add our url or your custom url to 'Add an exception' in Avast.

2. Add all the urls and pages you go to in the 'Add Exceptions' list.

Note for Mac Users: You need to go to Avast Menu: Preferences: Core Shields > Web Shield (this is what allows URL exceptions not File Shield).

💡 For step-by-step instructions in adding exceptions, you can check Avast's Support article here.
